The Redwood Tree Tribe aims to establish a seed fund to assist families with autism in dealing with sudden and urgent events, helping them navigate through difficult times when they encounter particular challenges. The symbolism of the redwood tree lies in its interconnected roots, mutual support, and robust growth.
The Redwood Tribe is deeply rooted in every family affected by autism. On March 17th, a mother with autism sadly passed away. Led by the Parent Committee of the Redwood Tribe, funds were raised for the children who lost their mother. In less than a week, a total of $6341 was raised. This act reflects not only immense love for the children who lost their mother but also serves as a significant encouragement for all parents of autistic children to unite and support each other.
The action of the Redwood Tribe is truly touching. They provide practical support to families in need, especially in such difficult times. While the amount of donations may be limited in monetary terms, the emotional support is boundless. This spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance is incredibly precious, offering hope and encouragement not only to the child who lost their mother but also to other families affected by autism. The dedication and care of the foundation and all the parent representatives involved are commendable. May this warmth and support bring more strength and courage to the families in need, allowing them to feel the warmth and support of the community in the days to come.
A loving mother with a severely autistic child faced the challenge of frequently replacing the wheelchair, as her child enjoyed going out and needed a new wheelchair every three to six months. Due to the high cost of medical wheelchairs, fulfilling the desire to purchase a new one was beyond the means of this lovely mother alone. With the support of the Redwood Tribe Foundation, she quickly found a new wheelchair. The Redwood Tribe Foundation collaborated with other kind-hearted individuals, pooling funds to purchase the wheelchair, allowing the adorable child to finally use the wheelchair of their preference.
