The president of the Southern California Youth Magic Association, Kate Hong, began studying under the renowned magician Hu Jinling in April 2022, taking professional magic courses. She has performed on professional stages such as the Hollywood Magic Castle and the New Orleans S.A.M Magic Convention, earning the honor of “Tomorrow’s Star.”
In October 2023, with the support of the Franklin Foundation, Kate Hong established the “Southern California Youth Magic Association”. The main purpose of the association is to engage young minds and hands through magic learning, enhancing their creativity and imagination. Additionally, it aims to create a relaxed and inclusive platform for social interaction among adolescents, particularly those with autism. This platform allows them to participate in socializing with peers while learning magic skills, promoting social engagement, opening up, and healthy growth. The team is currently recruiting members, and interested children can contact us.
