Autistic Child Got Christmas Loving Gift

       The Autistic Children were very happy on Dec 16th, 2017. They received Christmas loving gift on that day. This event held by Church of Our Savior and Franklin Foundation. Many of Autistic Families got the loving gifts. There were more than 1000 gifts given to children of local communities. Some teenagers were volunteering, they distribute food to children.

Thomas Ni, the pastor of The Church of Our Saviour told us, “ The church has hosted this project for decades to help people in need. Showing them love from God. We give ham& turkey on Thanksgiving, gifts on Christmas. There are Foodbank, Clinic and Children Center , campus for kids, kids- after-school program, works together with the school district with El Monte. This time The Church of Our Savior with Franklin Foundation distribute the gift to Autistic Children and invite autistic teenagers do volunteers. It is very meaningful. And it shows that these children are contributing to our society. We will invite these chilren every year.”
      Jane Fall, the Executive director of Our Saviour Center introduced us, “Thanks for the wonderful community and give back to the community.  Our Saviour Center has 233 tons food distributed from our foodbank every year. We has emergency shelter, provides vouchers for local motel and gives free clinical service— treats 1500 unique patients, 4500 patient encounters, and provides primary medical care. We give the gift to low income families and autistic children, it is our service for every year.

Franklin Foundation’s board member Jeanne Hai and May Miao introduced us, “ They provides aid for the autistic children, Hosts fundraisers every year. And support for autistic children Developing special education in China.” ( Reported by Ryan Yu, 11th  grade,  student of Los Osos High School )
